Wonderful interview, Tom! You very eloquently make the most important point to be made in the field of Philosophy for Children: that children already have philosophical experiences and deserve the chance to inquire into them.

“children already have philosophical experiences and deserve the chance to inquire into them.”

I think oftentimes, we adults, are the ones who have difficulty taking up such issues with children.

I look forward to spending time on Thomas’ site.

Great interview Mark!

What an incredible way to facilitate creative intellectual communication between children. I was praying for a way to facilitate productive discussions
among students in my daughter’s school where children are forced into silent lunch and have no venue to communicate and entertain ideas amongst themselves.

Wow! Thank you for your podcast and incredible website, Mr. Wartenberg! I’m really interested in incorporating this into my elementary classroom. Your students’ projects are an excellent resource (e.g. philosophical background and question sets).

P.S.
Just one more book - what a treasure chest of gems here. I’ll be back for more and will spread the word!
