Marie Louise Gay, one of my hero’s! How wonderful to hear her speak in regards to her creation process from germ of an idea to the finished book.
I especially loved the last part of her interview, as she compared the importance of the illustrations in a picture book to the text. I have always tried to do this but never was able to put it as well as she did here.
Another great Canadian Talent!
Chris
