How wonderful to hear her speak in regards to her creation process from germ of an idea to the finished book. I especially loved the last part of her interview, as she compared the importance of the illustrations in a picture book to the text. I have always tried to do this but never was able to put it as well as she did here. Another great Canadian Talent! Chris Marie Louise Gay, one of my hero’s!
