Help us help kids: PAB2007 children’s book drive
We’re coordinating a children’s book drive as part of the Podcasters Across Borders 2007 conference taking place in Kingston, Ontario (Canada), June 22-24, 2007. If you’re attending PAB2007, here’s what to do:
- Buy a brand new copy of one of your favourite children’s books
- Write the name of your city, province/state and country on the inside cover (optionally, you can write your name as well)
- Bring that book to PAB2007
- Drop the book off in the book collection bin at the conference
- Feel great that you are helping a school turn children on to reading
All books collected will be donated to Central Public School in Kingston, ON.
As an added bonus, you can qualify to win an author-autographed children’s book of your own. Submit a two-minute audio review about the book that you are donating and what makes it one of your favourites to the Just One More Book!! podcast. Your name will be entered in to a draw.
