Densely colourful, offbeat illustrations and an unusual hybrid of storytelling and text-book style narration tantalize us with strange but true animal stories that are surprisingly addictive.

Am I the first one to hear your podcast?

What a thrill!!

The book was my idea by the way - it actually says so on the fly leaf.

Very proud of that - does that make me a blowhard?

Thank you for this - again - I loved it!!!

Sorry Kathy!!

You know, I realized that it was your idea after the podcast was recorded.

We read the flaps and afterward following our very first reading of the book (which seems so long ago, now that we’ve read and re-read the stories SO many times!) and at that time I didn’t map the name to the the blurb so in my memory I just linked, as is often the case, the person named as having dreamed up the project as being the author. I apologize for the mixup!

Thanks for setting it straight! Thanks for the great book and, of course, thanks for stopping in to listen.

Andrea

Brilliant illustrations by Kathy Osborn and a truly wonderful, original idea for a book! We gave this book as a Christmas gift to friends and colleagues and got the most amazing feedback!!! This past Wednesday I received a call from a client (who had received a copy of A Horse in the House from me) calling to let me know that she had ordered a bunch for friends! It’s thatgood!!!

Cheers.
