Because I love these suggestions, and Whitney's genuine concern for helping kids learn to love books. I'm so glad that she ultimately was able to help her son become a reader.</description>

Last week I bought the children's book "The Island Treasure Hunt," by retired Milwaukee cop Larry Powalisz.   The graphics were gret, which brought my son into the storyline.  

Graphics are what gets my child to pay attention, even if it is only for three or four mintues more at a time.</description>
