I really noticed Jeffers after I picked up his recent "The Incredible Book Eating Boy" It's a charming book with a fun story -- but I really responded to the book design and illustration (gotta' be the illustrator in me). The die-cut of the bite out of the back cover of the book is an excellent final touch -- definitely worth the extra production cost. I'm looking forward to his next project! Great interview.
