I agree that the raccoon is trying to collect an infinite number of digits but I think of “Infinity” is a concept — not a number (and, specifically, not a number which begins with “7931″ and just keeps adding digits!)

Thanks to Just One More Book for such a nice review. I was wondering where the disagreement might be about the meaning of infinity… in Missing Math it’s defined as “a number that never ends.” Infinity could also refer to boundless time or space, but one definition is endless quantity. Anyway, hope readers find the book infinitely entertaining!
