I've read Clementine (have not read this one, must run out and get it, thank you:) Based on the first book though, I must admit that I found the Junie B. Jones series had a much more real voice and was truely, LOL, funny. Clementine is a natural step up, for children who have graduated from grade one to grade three and are ready for a more "novelish" book approach. I did enjoy the stories and the art, though, for me, it would take a heck of a writer and illustrator to compare to the team of Barbara Parks and Denise Brunkus.

Thanks so much for reviewing these books! Boys are now 10 and 13 but we read them a while ago- a fun series of books for kids!
ithink every kid goes through times where they don't feel like they fit in, and I think kids will identify with Clementine's individuality. That's why I love these books so much! Creativity unleashed.
