		<description>Fascinating! I love seeing behind the scenes to how Lane Smith creates his illustrations. To be honest, I wasn&#039;t familiar with his books before this, and seeing the likable, creative person he is in the interview does make me want to look for his books (perhaps this also relates to yesterday&#039;s question about whether knowing an author or illustrator&#039;s background boosts a person&#039;s enjoyment of a book -- sometimes knowing something about the author/illustrator leads to discovering books you wouldn&#039;t have otherwise)</description>
